Die litauische Geigerin Dalia Dėdinskaitė wurde 1988 in Vilnius geboren.

Seit 2008 studiert Sie in Wien bei Prof. Christian Altenburger und Prof. Johannes Meissl.

Als begeisterte Kammermusikerin nimmt sie an internationalen Festivals der klassischen Musik teil, wie „The 10th annual ChamberFest“ in New York, „Schwäbischer Frühling“ in Deutschland, „Festival Pablo Casals“ in Frankreich, „The International Holland Music Sessions“ in Holland, „Loisiarte“ in Österreich und weitere.

Born in Vilnius, Lithuania, currently studying and residing in Vienna, Dalia Dedinskaite is one of the most promising in her generation of Baltic violinists. After winning the prestigious International violin competition “Violine in Dresden 2010″ in Germany, young artist was invited to perform the L. van Beethoven violin concerto in the festival “Dresdner Festspiele 2012 “.

Dalia Dedinskaite has already performed in many European countries and US, in venues such as Vienna Musikverein, The Paul Hall of The Juilliard School in New York, Bösendorfer Concert Hall in Mozarthaus Vienna, Lithuanian National Philharmonic, Kaunas Philharmonic, Odd Fellow Palæet in Copenhagen, The Big Hall of Carl Maria von Weber music highschool in Dresden, the Vilnius City Hall, and others. She has also appeared as a soloist with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra and the “Dresdner Kappelsolisten”, cooperated with conductors Saulius Sondeckis, Juozas Domarkas, Georg Mark, Helmuth Branny, John Holloway. Dalia is a prize-winner of many national and international competitions including: the 4th International Alexander Glazounov violin competition in Paris, National Balys Dvarionas competition, The 4th Raimundas Katilius violin competition, The VIth International Stasys Vainiunas Chamber music competition and others.

An enthusiastic chamber musician, Dalia toured and participated in the international festivals of classical music, such as “The 10th annual ChamberFest” in New York, “Schwäbischer Frühling” in Germany, “Festival Pablo Casals” in France, “The International Holland Music Sessions” in Holland, “Loisiarte” in Austria and others, has cooperated with such artists as Christian Altenburger, Patrick Demenga, Ole Chritsian Haagenrud, Cornelia Hermann, Reinhard Latzko, Gleb Pysniak, Mihaela Ursuleasa, Christoph Schiller, Quirine Viersen.
Dalia had materclasses with Shmuel Ashkenasi, Lluis Claret, Aleksander Fischer, Herbert Kefer, Maria Kliegel, Sergej Kravchenko, Klaus Maetzl, Eszter Perényi, Miklós Perényi, Jérôme Pernoo, Marianne Piketty, Josef Rissin, Miroslav Rousin, Fred Sherry, Richard Stolztman, members of the Talich Quartet and Fine Arts Quartet.

Dalia Dedinskaite was born in 1988 in Vilnius. Her formal studies she began at the Naujoji Vilnia music school under Elena Lasaite, later continued at the National M. K. Ciurlionis School of art under prof. Jurgis Dvarionas. 2007-2008 – at the Lithuanian Academy of music and theatre (Prof. Jurgis Dvarionas). From 2008 Dalia is studying at the University of Music and Performing arts in Vienna with prof. Christian Altenburger, chamber music with prof. Johannes Meissl.
